About Amy
I am a bodyworker, earth medicine practitioner, priestess, writer, and teacher in Portland, OR.
Both my bodywork practice and my school, The Golden Stone Wisdom School, focus on an embodied approach to spiritual medicine. The work I do is inspired by years of practice listening to intuitive messages from plants, the natural world, the body and the energetic field.
I believe healing comes from a deep knowing of the self in relationship with the heart of the world. I facilitate connection to what’s happening within the physical and energetic body to allow healing to happen on various levels. I help people feel more easeful in their bodies and remember the magic of Life. The more people remember how to deeply love themselves and feel they truly belong here, the more we find our wholeness as an Earth community.

All of my offerings are designed with these principles in mind:
1
Our bodies are wise and act as a spiritual map and guide
2
The Earth is living and animated with consciousness
3
Plants are teachers and allies on our journey of remembering and awakening
4
Magical and ceremonial space is a doorway through which we commune with the sacred heart of ourselves and the world.
5
Life is cyclical, and we allow ourselves to be informed by the seasons and rhythms of the Earth
6
Each of us is a unique soul with a unique purpose, lessons, and gifts
My Story
Over the past 18 years of my own healing journey, I’ve discovered the incredible benefit of being a sensitive person as someone who cannot, and will not, live in the unrealistic and disconnected film that overlays deeper, truer reality.
I’ve studied with many incredible teachers, both human and non-human (plant spirits, spirit guides, stones, etc.), and have developed my own way of integrating the worlds of energy and spirit into the material, lived experience.
I’ve cultivated a trusting, loving relationship with my body, my energy body, and my Self. I’ve found true, meaningful relationship with plant spirits, with my ancestors, with the elements of nature, and the living land. I’ve cultivated a depth of relationship with the natural world that is fulfilling and sincere. And I want this for you too.
I lean into the wisdom from my ancestral Celtic peoples, and I do my best to honor the teachings, teachers, and cultures that I've learned from who are not in my ancestral lineage.
I am a Scorpio sun, Cancer moon, and Capricorn rising.
Why I love what I do
Why I love what I do
Our culture has torn the fabric of love and respect for our human and non-human kin alike. My work is rooted in shifting the capitalistic, individualistic, and patriarchal paradigm that disconnects us from honoring our bodies and our kinship with the Earth. In order to heal, we must return to the keystones of a meaningful, interconnected life: presence, love, trust, respect, reciprocity, and a sense of belonging and worthiness.
I work with heartfelt and sensitive souls who are looking to gain a sense of worth, meaning and belonging by improving their relationship with their bodies and the Earth. I support people on their journey to:

-
Feel like they’re worthy and enough just by being themselves.
-
Awaken and reclaim their intuitive senses and deeper ways of knowing.
-
Remember how to cultivate meaningful connections with our non-human kin and the unseen realms
-
Feel safe and rooted in their body.
-
Learn to trust themselves.
-
Find a sense of belonging and place by maintaining a connection with the Earth.
My History

I grew up surrounded by health care practitioners and doctors. Health and healing was always a topic of discussion in my family; this paved the way for my desire to help people through this obscure process of “healing.” At the time, I had no idea what that actually looked like as my only experience was through a Western Medical lens.
After traveling throughout South East Asia and India, my mind was opened to a more earth-based way of medicine. I was shown a new way of relating to our health, from a place of empowerment and access through cultivating a true relationship with the Earth and all its medicine. I returned home with an eagerness to study the wide range of natural healing arts.
Experience & Study

My first foray in the healing arts was on a small herbal medicine farm in the Catskill Mountains, where I lived and studied for 2 months.
I then studied bodywork at the Fingerlakes School of Massage in Ithaca, NY. It was there I completed one of the most rigorous programs in the country in terms of hours, hands on practice, and scientific background.
I completed Reiki levels I, II, III and Master level, as well as advanced "Laser Reiki" classes through the Reiki Ranch in Chehalis, WA. I continued my studies of Energy Medicine with LifeLight Center, studied Craniosacral therapy and Integrated Visceral Techniques with Michael McMahon of Moving Mountain Institute, and was trained in Belize by Rosita Arvigo in The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy.

I continued my studies of herbs and plant spirit medicine through The Arctos School of Botanical and Herbal Studies, the School of Forest Medicine, Shayne Cases’ Flower Essence Mentorship program.

I studied magic and priestessing for a year in Blue Iris Mystery School in 2012 (now the Golden Web Mystery School). I completed a year-long priestess training program in Sacred Leadership in the Reclaiming Tradition with Gerri Ravyn Stanfield and Suzanne Sterling in 2015. I also studied Celtic Shamanism through a program with Jane Burns.

I gained experience working as a ceremonial facilitator and plant spirit medicine teacher for the School of Forest Medicine from 2011-2018, assisting, and then leading, plant spirit medicine trips around Oregon.

I continue to learn every day by working with my amazing clients and students, reading countless books, and always deepening my knowledge through continuing education.
