It's time to slow down 🍂

Are you feeling the shifts happening too?

We’ve traversed the bulk of Summer. We’re on the other end of another powerful Eclipse Season.

You might be noticing the days are getting darker. The first wisps of fall are coming in.

Maybe you’re feeling a slight urge to prepare more meals at home, give more attention to your home life a little bit more, starting to feel good saying “no thank you” to invitations and outings rather than the expansive “yes” of summer.

If you think about where we are at the opposite end of the wheel of the year, for those in the Southern Hemisphere, this is at the very end of winter. When the light has noticeably returned and the promise of Spring is palpable. There is a growing sense of the renewal of life in those weeks.

And here in the Northern Hemisphere, we can sense the same turning, but this time we're moving towards the quieting. Feeling the tug of contraction after we’ve been so external with the light. Gone through so much internally with what’s been stirred up with eclipses. It’s time to integrate, to quiet ourselves, to go into more of a receptive and listening state.

The Autumn Equinox is just three weeks away. So three more weeks where the light lingers is a little bit longer than the night, before darkness will take its reign and invite us in, invite us down. Integrating our adventures and memories into the body. Into our lived reality.

How can we continue to carry what we’ve learned over the light half of the year in our cells and way of being? Can we allow what’s been expanded and revealed to settle and take shape within our lives?

This integration period, this ability to contract into the body, is something that’s incredibly difficult for our culture. It requires us to understand that the growth isn’t always doing more. It’s not always in chasing the next high, but possibly in learning to be with what’s present a little more fully.

Learning how to slow down. Learning how to deeply listen. Learning how to be ok if things don’t change. Learning how to be ok if things change. And meet what arises in the face of that acceptance. How to show up again and again for ourselves and the Earth even when things feel hard.

This is what Autumn invites us into. And this is why I position the Golden Stone Immersion here. Because Autumn calls for us to take stock. To not chase, but to be with. To surrender, to let die what’s not serving your soul’s trajectory any longer. So we can lighten our load through the darkness. So we can emerge afterwards more clear, more liberated, more integrated and whole.

So I invite you to start to “take stock” in whatever way works for you over the coming weeks.

Notice the transitioning seasonal moment, and feel how your body responds. What are they needing from you right now? How can you support yourself through change? Journal about what feels like it’s completing and what is calling for your attention as the darkness comes. Put on some music and let your body move. Sit by your altar and listen for what spirit guides are stepping in to support this transition for you. Draw a tarot card. Make some art. Give an offering to the waters and the Earth.

Whatever your flavor of integration or checkin- in is, lean in right now. It’s important to not skip over these transitional moments. Especially as sensitive, feeling folk. Your nervous system and energetic body are already feeling and noticing. So give them a container to land into.

Golden Stone Immersion

Reclaiming our power from the forces of distortion is what we do in the Golden Stone Immersion. We excavate the outdated stories, reclaim specific types of power through each of the chakras, and reweave ourselves back into the Oceanic Power of the Earth.

This re-harmonizes our inner terrain. We deepen our relationship with the Earth body again. And we become more fully ourselves. More fully alive, pulsing with The Magic of Life.
